Reasons to despise " god " ( in the almost zero possibility of he/she/its existence )

This pattern recognition is of course something that has helped us in the past. It is totally justified to think "Predator" instead of "wind" when you hear branches of a bush move. In the case of religion however lots of people think "Zebra" instead of "Horse" when they hear hooves.

Yes of course. This pattern seeing is important. It can go wrong sometimes. But the pattern seeing itself evolved for a good "reason". Although of course reason isn't really the right word exactly.
Because of course you would have had to react as if its a predator in case it IS one. You can't afford to think "Oh its just the wind". And then have a predator kill you.
Did I forget to mention the benefits of pattern recognition? I guess I didn't think it needed a mention. But of course it could be needed a mention to some people. So thanks for pointing it out if I forgot to mention it.
Of course pattern recognition ITSELF evolved because it benefits us.
Even if we get it wrong a lot of the time. In the past this would have been often beneficial because, what if you're wrong? You can't afford to think and/or act as if its just something harmless. If you're wrong you could die.
