It astonishes me to see Christians waxing lyrical about human sacrifice again and again.
Godschild - really - do you not see anything revolting in comparing a man, a supposedly perfect man to a sacrificial lamb? This is the god you worship? Doesn't seem in the least bit anachronistic?
As for the alien discussion there is a world of difference between thinking there might be aliens out there somewhere and assuming they are doing some kind of flypasts down here on earth.
Alien existence, quite possible. Alien awareness of our existence - very improbable specifically because of the size of the universe.
