Some Simple Questions show Atheistic Origin Science is false (proof 2 begins)
RE: Some Simple Questions show Atheistic Origin Science is false (proof 2 begins)
The possible processes of the origins of cellular life on this planet are known.
Here's a Nobel winner from Harvard, who has worked on the question.
Please ask some specific intelligent questions AFTER you have watched the ENTIRE series.
So far the questions asked in this thread reek of no education in Biology, and Genetics.

You really expect anyone, let alone grace, to watch an hour long video? Ain't nobody got time for that!

Probability = 1 is not a calculation.

How do you calculate a probability then?

What you are too stupid to understand is that you are asking for the probability of something happening that has already happened you fucking ignoramus.

The probability is therefore ALWAYS GOING TO BE 100%.

Its not our fault you can't ask questions properly.

It is indicative of your level of knowledge.

It is, if the event in question has already happened. If it has occurred, then the chances of it occurring are one hundred percent. I'm sorry you don't like that, but your extended temper tantrum isn't going to change that.

So, where are your calculations regarding god?

Where's your degree?

Hey everyone maybe if we all ask Grace together what qualifications he/she has, he/she may actually answer. Ok everyone who reads this post, make your next post this question: Grace, what qualifications do you have regarding science?

Why do you keep asking members when so many of us have pointed out to you that we don't know? Can you move on?
No concrete evidence, no- but much that is rich for further study, if you look at the very good papers I have linked here. You seem to be suggesting that scientists should simply throw their hands up and not try to explain it. Imagine how much worse off we would all be if that was the response of scientists faced with a difficult question. So let's get on with it, then. Is there another point of yours in your VERY long OP that you would like me, as an evolutionary biologist, to address?

Pointless. Since we don't know how many Goldilocks planets are in the universe, and all the possible forms life could take, that cannot be done. So why waste your time on a question no one can answer? There is clearly much you do not know about the mechanisms of genetics, let alone evolutionary biology, so why not learn it instead of throwing out red herrings? It belittles your argument. Let's see some good, answerable, substantial questions.

The odds show that it does not matter if the universe were many trillions of years old and if you allowed the miracle anywhere in the universe. It just never happened.

Atheistic origin science is relying on a multitude of miracles.
It contradicts itself.

Your estimate of probability is way off.

There were hundreds of millions of years and trillions and trillions and trillions of possible opportunities every second for even very unlikely events to occur.

Your intuition or judgement of the likelihood of the formation of self-replicating molecules is simply not to be trusted. Nor is mine.
But I can estimate it using mathematics, and the answer is that it is not an unlikely occurrence given the time and the opportunities.
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.

This is just weird. So despite not knowing anything about the ways this could have happened, all the possible places it could have have happened, or much about biochemistry at all, you have arrived at that conclusion (and my guess is without significant study in statistics).
Well, that's all, then. Why bother putting up a thread when absolutely nothing anyone could ever say in the future when we have more knowledge could ever sway you?

Again, there is no such field. You and I both know you're only using this term to try and annoy people here, but it makes you look really uneducated to keep using it. Why not try some honest tactics instead of deliberate baiting and asking questions you have no intention of hearing answers on unless they're the answers you already like? Are you really that bored?

And none of all those possibilities puts a dent in the odds.

Extremely unlikely events happy all the time. This "saved" person has no background in Probability, is seems. Get 100 pairs of dice. Toss them on the desk. The probability of that event, (or a similar event) coming out exactly the way it did, I can easily demonstrate, is 1/Googleplex.
ID is a strawman created by ignorant people who never took Probabilty 101.
