That's a good question.
Who came up with Breasts? I am really thankful for those.
Don't forget beards. I am thankful to bearded men for not shaving.
Oh, and breasts.

Troll.
Wow. Up until now I was a troll virgin. I ask one question that is not popular and I'm a troll. Can a troll wear heels while running away from the bacon police? I think not!

Awhile back a good friend told me that he's HIV positive and has been for years. I don't have a very good poker face and he immediately could tell that I was suddenly thinking of him getting sick and dying. He reminded me that virtually no one in the U.S. dies from AIDS anymore thanks to the anti-viral drugs that have been developed. In point of fact, his life expectancy is better than mine since I still smoke.
I am grateful to all the scientists and researchers that made those drugs a reality. (Now... If I could just stop smoking.)

Yeah, the words "thankful" and "glad" (and other related words) don't have much of a difference between them. They can be used in almost the same context.
For some reason, though, I get the feeling that being thankful has something extra that the other one doesn't have.
I think that thankfulness includes two things at once ... and those are ... being happy and being appreciative. This also suggests that the thankfulness may result from feeling an appreciation for some of the favors that someone has given to you (or bestowed upon you). Therefore, in that light, when someone says that he or she is thankful for so-and-so, it sounds to me as if they are expressing both contentment and appreciation at the same time, for whatever thing that they feel thankful for. That's why I think that being thankful is a little bit greater than simply feeling happy, lucky, or fortunate. It comes from a deeper place in our hearts and has more power to influence how much we value our lives.

Perhaps... they do admit YahwehIsTheWay...
Who knows how many other socks are out there?
I wouldn't be surprised to find Statler or Drich as the sock of some other well known member...
