Evolution and Islam

Perhaps not, but if people want their society to be knowledgeable, science is a big part of it. E.g. I don't like math. I have hard time comprehending certain aspects of mathematics, but do I think that it was unfair that it was "forced" upon me? No. And once again, no one is forcing anyone to "believe" it, in schools you get the education to (perhaps) comprehend the matter at hand, but what you do with the knowledge is up to you. And funny that a Muslima should be concerned with forcing believes upon others.. Dodgy
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

No there isn't. If you think there is, show it to us.

No you haven't, the qur'an is full of contradictions, people here have found some and you simply say that they can't interpret arabic properly. This is a cop out and is false. People who speak arabic including ex-muslims find contradictions. Even if there were no contradictions in the teachings, this wouldn't mean the truth of one's claims.

No you're not, you're using the Islamic answer to everything which is highly dogmatic. At least if you were coming from a purely scientific angle you could argue that you have an agenda albeit one that is supported WITH EVIDENCE. Islamic teachings are not objective and neither are you. Sorry.

For Islam, all we have the word of believers and a contradiction laden book written under dubious circumstances around 1500 years ago.

You deceive yourself.

There are also hard verifiable quantifiable and tastable against theories for "human" evolution .

Like what? Creationism? If that's your answer then you may as well stop right there.

Take your own advice. Do some research.

There is nothing scientific in the Quran, just retrospective reasoning and stealing the advancements of others and cramming it into verses that would reveal absolutely nothing unless someone else did the hard work for them.

I agree. But believing something doesn't make it true. And to be clear, I don't believe in evolution. I see it as a fact because it is a fact.

By the way , please research about some islamic scholar those who were propounded different evolutionary theories . Jabbir ibn Hayyan , Ibrahim an-Nazzam , Al-Jahiz , Al-Biruni , Ebn Meskavayh , Ibn Tufail , Ibn Khaldun etc ...

So muslims are not the against the evolution as you think . Christians are , because this is opposed to their Jesus portrait .

76:1 Was there not a time in the past when the human being was nothing to even be mentioned?

You are being the antithesis of objective. You are using your religious beliefs to justify your arguments and, further, to rubbish evidence based theories that contradict your reasoning. This is why we're not taking you seriously.

I dont blindly defend my religious faith . I'm open to discuss in the scientific and philosophical . But you always expect me to accept what you says even if I say the truth .

Oh Nineteen. Nineteen. N-N-N-N-Nineteen. Don't take it to heart. If you are really open to proper discussion as you say, and I have no reason to doubt that, then you also have to be open to following the evidence where it leads. It's not simply a question of accepting what we say; if you post something that is known to be and can be shown to be wrong or misleading, and someone does indeed show that, it's not an "accept or die" kind of proposition. Nor is it an attack on you as a person. We're all wrong from time to time; what matters is our willingness to correct ourselves.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Oh really?
Well then, assume that the hindus are right. Now try to defend their religion and assault your islam.
Try to put yourself on other people's shoes.

Better yet, try to assume you're "poca, the alien"™ and look down on humanity and all the gods it worships and has worshiped in the past... what would you make of it?

Don't start with your preconceived notion of a particular "god".

Look at the world and follow the evidence where it leads.
If it leads to a particular god, then please show us how that is, because we've looked and we can't see those dots connecting evidence with any god...

"Human" evolution is just a propoganda carried out by atheists . They are trying to impose it on people although there are major obstacles to explain it .
