I don't go around waving a banner that says 'god is a made up creature, you fucktards'. I attack religion when it attacks me.
No, I don't want to know about the word of God, I actually like Lee Child and Tom Clancy, George RR Martin when I read fiction.
But if you don't bring it up (as many others stated) I won't either. Just don't be sneaking pro-theist propaganda into my conversation, that's all.

Yeah, I suppose I agree. I would usually try to just point out inconsistencies with logic, hypocrises, etc. in the hopes that it would click with them. I figured if I was disrespectful about it, they'd be less likely to listen. Now I realize, they don't listen anyway, disrespectful or not...
