Can an Atheist know anything?

RE: Can an Atheist know anything?
Allah means the one and only god, as opposed to polytheistic gods. Which is why in some languages, the bible wants to use the word Allah for the christian god and then they get threats from muslims. I think nowadays muslims tend to say Allah instead of god just because it gives them something to differentiate from other religions and it's also an identity perhaps, that's just speculation on my part.

Not that I care to interact with 19 (she will not reply anyway because I pointed out she was dishonest in our first exchange), just giving some background which I don't think would be provided by her.

So does the verse mean to worship the muslim god or to worship any god?

Quote:You may also fight them to eliminate oppression, and to worship GOD freely
.
is very different from
Quote:"And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah

Both means the same , you could find that if you would research . There is a conjunction between the phrases (fight them to eliminate oppression "and" to worship GOD freely) .

The word used here to describe "and" conjuction is "و" . Its not a simple "and" as like in English . It means "due to" or "thus" or "thereby" .

So Allah describes persecution and oppression as an obstance for his religion . He say fight until they have run out of this attitude and so the religion/system will be only for Allah/God .

That's interesting, because to me, fight until religion is for allah means just that. I wonder if thats the error that islamic terrorists fall into.

Is allah and god used interchangeably in the Qua-ran then?

Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken."

Over-generalizing, at the least.

A nonsensical assertion.

Arguably less wrong than anything else in your post.

Discuss.

When your premises are garbage, your conclusions are likely to also be garbage. When you got to your conclusion, you should have asked yourself if it is true that no atheist in the world knows a single thing. You could have asked an atheist about some things you know that an atheist might also know if atheists are capable of knowing anything. Then, when you realized your conclusion wasn't true, you should have kept your mouth shut until you had something intelligent and/or entertaining to say.

I'm sensing your butt hurts deeply, Nineteen. That doesn't mean you need to show it to everyone.

So in this case I can blame all the atheists because of some atheists ? Now I'm sure personal interests will be engaged and you will say just the opposite for yourself .

Yes, we've certainly noticed you blame all atheists because of some atheists, but thanks for spelling it out.
