I got 12/13. I only missed the atmosphere one, should have known it too, because we learned that last year. I was thinking of water, not air & put in hydrogen. Pretty sad that I got this when many people with college diplomas failed it.

I don't consider myself very scientifically literate and thought for sure I would embarrass myself compared to everyone else here. I got a 13/13.
The thing is that I know some intelligent peole that would probably get at least a few wrong on this test, but I don't think this is solely due to our education system. The American culture discourages this kind of knowledge and encourages us to know and care about trivial shit like who Kim Kardashian is fucking.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell
