But he says he learns new valuable information whenever he reads it. He can read a verse he's read 50 times before and he finds a new, deeper meaning to it. Of course people of other faiths experience much the same thing when they read and re-read their holy books. I doubt your father would attribute their experiences to their religions being true. In fact, such an experience of ever-deepening meaningfulness is not confined to religous texts. You can get the same experience reading great works of philosophy or literature. I guarantee that if you read King Lear several times at different stages of your life, you will find new, deeper meanings in it as you yourself grow and bring wider and deeper experiences to bear on the text. Needless to say, that's not the prompting of the Holy Spirit. It's you and what you bring to the table. (February 27, 2014 at 2:12 pm)JesusLover1 Wrote: My dad says the holy spirit speaks to him... Usually, we just call that "schizophrenia," prescribe anti-psychotics and move on. Worshipping the voices in your head? Not usually a good idea. My (sort-of) father in law did that and it REALLY didn't turn out well for him.

When I watch a favorite movie... I always find something I didnt see before.. its amazing.. the more u look the more u will find.
My mom saw an angel! My sister was sick and in the middle of the night he appeared to her. It wasn't a dream, she asked my sister what they were talking about right before she left the room and it matched what she saw and heard. She even forgot about it and didn't tell my dad till late the next day, she should have been scared if she had just imagined it, but she says the peace of God was under her. I SWEAR she's not making this up, she seems so genuine when she says it and she NEVER lies.

When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura
You should ask for a refund from the guy that gave you lessons in trolling. This is pathetic: "My mom saw an angel!" Well, I saw Bigfoot. How could I possibly make that up?
