Debate with a Christian

RE: Debate with a Christian
*Sigh.*

"Is the evidence for god sufficient to justify belief in one?"

There, that a good enough debate question?

Be careful, once someone picks a subject we'll have 20 pages of clarifications and general fuckery before nothing happens.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Sadly, this is probably going to be the case.

I'd be happy to debate you, but I don't yet know enough about your beliefs, etc. I don't even know where you're from. Why don't you tell us a bit about the different aspects of what you believe as well as the different and perhaps distinctive beliefs that you believe that you have and why?

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK

Seems to me you're trying to feel out a rival, you're trying to make sure you want get run into the ground, just pick a subject you're comfortable with and give it a fling.

Why do 21st Century Americans believe in ancient ethnocentric Jewish religious fairy tales that include such creatures as actual talking serpents and donkeys, ghosts, demons, and zombies when they themselves are not Jewish?

Got balls?

Here's an idea for a debate if you want to be on the FOR side:
  1. Obesity in Australia is not a pandemic.

That's not a proper debate topic, rethink it and see if you come up with something intelligible.

Here's an idea for you:
  1. The ancient Hebrew religious texts contained in the Tanakh, as recorded in the Leningrad Codex, are not relevant to 21st Century Americans, and in particular is not useful for understanding history.

Here's a debate topic: We see a lot of evil in the world that directly results from religious faith, but can any good be solely derived from the irrational certitude in irrational contentions that religious faith imposes on its adherents?

How would we debate the general existence of any given god?

You need to explain to me what you mean when you use the phrases: general existence and any given god.
How indeed....
You say some deepities, I say they're deepities with no value and, in the end, you claim there's a god because there must be, while I await you to provide evidence for said god.

hmmm... you're right... why debate something you already know the outcome of?

New topic: Did Mohamed really marry and fuck a 9 year old girl?
Another one: Did Mohamed rise to the heavens on a winged horse?
Another: Is Apollo the god that creates apologists?
