You don't need a brain to be an atheist. The default position is "not knowing" after all. Before anyone can think they're an atheist. So you can have fellow atheists who can think and not think, but you cannot have atheists who can only think. That wouldn't include everyone.
I am an atheist who admits that there is no knowing - inherently, intrinsically and absolutely. That grain cuts both ways.
I consider myself someone who does not believe based upon the consideration that anything "other" seems fundamentally flawed as both a concept and a suggested reality. An atheists guide to reality
