I was reading through Paul's letter to the Galatians and a few chapters of the Letter to the Hebrews in the New Testament. While I was waiting for a dentist at the Royal Dental Hospital in Melbourne to see me.
That gives you an indication of how little time, I had to wait  I was expecting to have read the whole New Testament before a dentist would see me.

*chuckle* I suspect (but cannot prove) that the editing/proof-reading process has ended more literary careers than being stumped for a good story.

Oh, I have an editor: she's sent me a list of corrections and changes to go over, which is what I'm doing now. It's a unique hell, but also the last step before publication, so...

Dude, my writing is what 50 Shades fuckin' wishes it was. That shit is amateur hour, it's almost offensive to be put in the same class as that.
But yes, it's a BDSM novel, just one written with an eye for quality and not being a manual for abusive dickbags. The only good thing to come out of 50 Shades was it convinced me that if that tripe can become successful, there's no reason I couldn't at least get published, a theory that has since panned out.
