THE NEW X MEN FILM IS COMIN OUT SOON!
I'm not usually excited about films but I love the x men films.
X-Men and the Battle of Five Armies are the only two movies I think I'm looking forward to this year.
Hughe Jackman is a sexy beast of a man but I'm tired of the X- Men movies. The trilogy was good enough!

I was not a big fan of the trilogy. I would love it if the could correct the timeline and start pumping out x-men films closer to the comics. First Class was my favorite, because it distanced itself from the mess the third x men film created.

This often tends to happen to comicbook film series. The first outing is a highly-praised vision of a much-loved title. The second is eagerly anticipated as a vessel for expanding on the themes and imagery of the first. The third instalment is such a bastardised, cartoonish betrayal of audience expectations that the fourth instalment is forced to pulp the whole lot and reinvent everything as a "gritty reboot".
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Actually, I think the only thing that got rebooted out of X-men was the terrible third movie; from what I remember it's set in the same continuity as the others, just before them.
Have we seriously gone four pages or so through a movies thread without mentioning that a certain King of Monsters is having his big comeback in a few weeks?

I have to say that as a lifelong fan of Godzilla, I am not at all interested in seeing the franchise re-booted yet again.
If ya want dragons, "How to Train Your Dragon 2" will hit in June. If it's half as good as the original it'll be one of the best films of the year! And fuck the academy for slobbering all over Disney, Pixar and "Toy Story 3." Yes it was good and a fitting wrap up to the franchise but it was not better than "How to Train Your Dragon!" Not even close!

I'm looking forward to "Dumb and Dumber To".

Both were really good I thought.
I think all the movies I've been waiting to come out have come and gone from theaters. I can't even think of what they were. I'm in weekly GOT mode right now. :-D

I'm curious about that too, but I think my sense of humor has changed since the first one. I use to love the first one, but the humor is lost on me now, or atleast the toilet jokes are. I really would love to see Jim Carrey make a come back though.
