I think you would find that your only beef here is with the Catholic church, since the protestant churches formed in "protest" of the Catholics.
Even they had the good sense to see that Catholicism was evil.
You can't be serious right now. Catholics are evil, and Protestants are good?

You gotta go broader: [Any religion that isn't the one of the speaker] is evil, and [whichever religion the speaker belongs to] is good.

Actually, the Reformation kicked off not because people felt the Church was 'evil' per se, but that it was corrupt. Even Luther never accused the Papacy of suborning things like child abuse or child murder. His beef was the selling of indulgences, along with nepotism within the hierarchy, etc.
Thankfully, we now have a whole raft of Protestant churches, none of which show the slightest sign of corruption.

Protestants rape an equal number of children annually to Catholics, and in some cases, out child-rape them.

And yet omnipotent, omniscient God just plain forgot to add the following commandments that would save billions from unnecessary suffering:
11. STOP RAPING KIDS
12. Wash your hands after you poo
Additionally, God made sure to inform everyone that shellfish and homosexuals were "an abomination," but the rampant future childhood sexual abuse by clergy and religions families.
But brothers raping their sisters and fathers raping their daughters multiple times a week for years on end? No problem.
I tell you what. If there is an afterlife, based only cursorily on what female friends have told me about past trauma, that 1 in 5 women has been sexually molested by a family friend or member, the number of religious people granted a parson for religious belief and confession far exceeds the number of religious people who thoroughly wrent a woman's development in her prepubescent and mid puberty years.
Given an eternal afterlife where death and dependency of children on fathers and brothers no longer exist, and emotional ties are severed, there are a lot of motherfuckers out there who had better start running right now, because my wrath over an eternity in either heaven or hell will far exceed any afterlife punishment you can envision.

Interesting Freudian slip.

You miss the point. Protestants do not like the Catholic church, and would be inclined to side with you in matters related to the Catholics committing atrocities.
So to generalize is pretty foolish.

From wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vicarius_Filii_Dei
Quote:Some individual protestants of varying denominations view the Pope as the Antichrist, or like one. Once a common belief among Protestants and is still part of the confession of faith of some Protestant churches, such as those within Confessional Lutheranism.[8] Some groups like seventh-day Adventists controversially identify the Roman Papacy with the "number of the beast" (666) from the book of Revelation, and believe that the phrase Vicarius Filii Dei, reduced to its Roman numerals, sums up to 666, though alternate sums produce 664, depending on whether the IV in Vicarius is taken as a single number or two separate numbers. It must be said that Romans did not write vertically but horizontally. To produce 664, the sum works as follows: VICARIVS FILII DEI = 5+1+100+4+1+50+1+1+500+1 = 664, where 'U' is taken as 'V' (two forms of 'v' developed in Latin, which were both used for its ancestor 'u' and modern 'v'). To produce 666, the sum works as follows: VICARIVS FILII DEI = 5+1+100+1+5+1+50+1+1+500+1 = 666.

So to generalize is pretty foolish. Bolded by me, hopefully you can see the bolded part and not need any further explanation on how I feel about that.
So you would be inclined to side with me in matters relating to catholic atrocities, but what you are inclined to defend Protestant atrocities?
I guess all I can do is repeat myself, you can't be serious right now?
