The warning came from the entirety of the staff, who agreed that you were in violation of Rule 1. I suggest you read it.
Regarding Napo's message, I suggest you read this and leave the moderating to the moderators.

A: The OTHER person.

Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

lol
You make me laugh. --
As for how often Satan tempts me? Daily. Regarding the use of my reasoning faculties? I couldn't tell you. I admit that some of you have difficult arguments to overcome and when I find myself attempting to justify the logic in all of it, I know then that Satan is attempting to lead me astray with the use of logic and reason. Does that explain what I said?

I'm sorry, I'm a little shaky on the mechanics of that...you couldn't tell me how often it happens...but later in the post you appear to be telling me when it happens. Would it be fair to say that those instances you notice, on these forums, or with your own inner voice, for example, are -at least- how often it happens?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. And I suggest you read your own rules. I have been responding in kind to as many people as I have had time to respond to. Also, I haven't posted any more of the "preaching" posts since I have been warned. So bugger off and keep your mongrel moderator in his cage.

I was trying to say that Satan tempts me every day, but in regards to the logic and reason temptation specifically, that is much more rare. I know now that I use logic and reason for my daily existence and do not use it to contemplate the nature of God - who of course is far beyond logic and reason.

So, in the presence of people (or peoples arguments) who critically examine your beliefs you feel tempted, which is essentially equivalent to using logic in your explanation......by satan?
The experiences of reason and temptation by a demon, with regards to faith, are interchangeable? I could imagine how it might feel that way, regardless of whether or not any tempting by any demon was actually occurring. That being said, what was the most compelling sense of temptation that you have ever experienced in this regard?

Yes, in most cases. I assume that there may be some I haven't encountered.

The most compelling was probably when one of your moderators broke down what he called 'the absurdity of hell' and compared God to a real parent. I believe Satan used his logical reasoning to tempt me into betraying my worship of the almighty God by invoking my own sinful need (nature) to rationalize my human world.

IIRC doesn't that argument lean heavily on an appeal to emotion...at it's core? So what if god is a horrible parent, or seems to be in a less than favorable light against your own actual parents. Maybe thats because god is a shitty parent, a real bastard.....but that doesn't have anything to say on whether or not god exists or whether it is wise to worship him (in and of itself). It's more an issue of getting "the other side" to have an emotional reaction, an internal experience that is persuasive to them. The feeling of disgust for a bastard of a dad...for example, and it's effects. (can you see how that might be applied to missionary work btw? threats of hell designed to induce fear.....and it's hoped for effect of salvation, just as one example)
I don't think you were experiencing rational thought or temptation on this one. It seems more likely that you rationalized an emotional reaction(can you see how that might be applied to your belief in the first place?).
Next down the list?

Personal attack? Clearly you can't take a joke. Seems to be a trend with the religious.

You can talk about your beliefs, but coming here to tell everyone they're going to burn in hell for eternity is a little out of line, wouldn't you agree?
What do you expect when this is what you come onto the forum to do? You expect us to welcome you with open arms?
