And everything theists have to say was said by the end of post #1.

Small rant; rantette if you will.

Physics is hard. Really hard. The physics program I took started out with 40+ students. Nine took the last final. To be fair this was a set of "weeding out" courses for engineers and physics majors. These courses started out with Basic vectors and motion, and progressed through an intro to modern physics. Calculus I & II are pre and co-requisites. It is a very difficult field of study that takes a lot of work to even grasp the basics.

So it irritates me when people with no background spout this cosmological argument as though they are spouting some grand wisdom. People who are too lazy to actually take a science course want to lord it over those who actually have the insight in this subject. This is why I have lost my temper when talking with geocentrists.

I challenged it back on page four. You should go check it out.

Oh, and by the way? A series of assertions with no evidence behind them beyond your own (flawed) inductive reasoning isn't "proof." It's just you saying things.

You know what they say: "Ignorance more often begets confidence..."

Exactly. And also, dare I say it, many atheists spout cosmological drivel too.

Read Lawrence Krauss, he will turn your nothing into something.

The reason Lawrence Krauss to me is dumb is because he claims non-existence which doesn't even exist can split into two things. This was proven obviously false because that which does not exist can't do anything, can't cause anything and can't split into anything. Nature always exhibits causation from something.

The reason there are no billion bound gorillas stomping over NYC is because they don't exist so they can't cause anything. I think Krauss knows he is being belligerent. He gets off on it, perhaps making lots of money on the atheist circuit. He's probably having more fun doing that than his previously boring life and at least getting more attention.

But according to the Bible which has been proven to be true what's it worth to have all that entertainment yet go to Hell for rejecting Christ as his Lord and Savior for forgiveness of sins on the cross of salvation?

Idiotic.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

RE: Why I Don't Believe in Atheism
I've watched quite a few of Krauss's videos.
I'm no physics expert although I did get A's at college for pH, CH and math.

Right at this moment, I'm not aware that man made matter can be created from nothing just like life cannot be created from chemistry.

But the universe exists so it had to come from somewhere? Right?
But to swap one hypothesis for an even more ridiculous one may be good for humanity's ego but certainly not for science as we know it today.
We may never know it, like a plastic rubic's cube trying to solve itself.

Hell, physicists can't even explain in 50 years why electrons show signs of the classic "entanglement paradox". Does god control and manipulate every electron in the cosmos? I don't think so. We're just not there yet. It's nothing to be ashamed of.
We're just very clever monkeys doing our best.
The important thing to note is that we have many questions unanswered because we ask questions, not accept things based on faith. That would be the easy path and mankind will cease to progress.
No God, No fear.
Know God, Know fear.

It's funny how often theists accept entirely the logic behind our disbelief, but for some reason, that logic never applies to the insubstantial thing they want to believe is true.

After all, you might not be seeing gorillas destroying NYC because you haven't opened your heart and accepted the truth.

ROFLOL

Sometimes it's great to see this level of ignorance written out. Shatters my optimistic view of humanity a little, but nonetheless good for some lulz.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
