Ok then, theist; what is my belief? And please link to where I or anyone else said anything approaching your little quote there, in your very next post, or else be an adult and own up to lying. Thanks.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

We still have cause = effect
heat was lost, no longer part of the equation.

The cause is the pull of gravity that makes the sand to slide. The effect is the sand moving down the slope (kinetic energy) and the heat caused by friction. The heat is no longer available to do work but it still part of the effect. There are no exception to cause =effect, otherwise the law of conservation of energy would be violated.

You left out half the story.

You posted a bunch of stuff that was addressed, and quickly refuted by several people. You shifted the goal posts and changed the subjects numerous times, and those points were addressed and refuted.

...then you kept changing subjects to try to find one to win at. After a while, we get sick of it and start mocking you. I know you're used to cherry picking your Bible and all, but when you start cherry picking the conversations to pull out only the parts where all the mean meanie atheists are hurting your feelings, we're going to call you on it. You're posting on a message board with time-stamped responses and a quote function. We can just go back and find all the bullshit you've said and all the times it was refuted.

So, get fucked.

let's get the rhetoric right dimwit-time-stamped, you attempted to 'refute'; and by way, i'm not posting to save, convert, or prove.

So it really is about your undeserved sense of adequacy, your fragile ego, and your childish need to convince yourself you are right in spite of the facts. I always knew it! Cool Shades

Which Bible verses mandate that mindset and behavior? I must have missed them.

It's all of them, isn't it?

How does a external deity differ from an eternal Omni-verse?

The current “theory” is that the universe came into being from some explosion called the Big Bang. The standard Big Bang theory does not match smoothness of the cosmic background radiation. So the theory of Inflation was added to the standard Big Bang. That is the latest conjecture of modern science.

Now there are many problems with this “answer” to the origin of the universe. If nothing existed before the Big Bang, then the Big Bang violates a number of principle and laws of science. It violates conservation of mass-energy. The energy went from nothing to all the energy of the universe. It violates cause and effect. Nothing never just explodes and becomes something. It violates all observations, since nothing never just explodes into something. It also does not explain the origin of the laws of nature or why there is even order in the universe.

If something existed before the Big Bang, then the origin question is not answered at all. If the universe always existed, then the 2nd law of thermodynamics says that all order disappeared an infinite time ago. But that is not the case. Also there is still no explanation of the origin of the laws of nature or why there is even order in the universe.

- BBT does not say nothing existed prior to the Big Bang.

- Inflation occurred before the Big Bang. It is considered as pre-Bang activity.

- The laws of nature describes how nature functions. And so to describe nature, it has to exist. It's not that one (nature) has to exist before the other (the laws), or vice-versa. They both need to co-exist.
