I do somewhat agree with your concept of fear of death leading myself to surrender to the Savior.
Only it was not death that concerned me.
I live relatively close to Niagara Falls.
Every once in awhile we hear of some boater grounded, or motor conked out a quarter mile up from the rapids.
These days the water intakes can be fully opened at the power vista to drop the level to fix the boater in place until he can be removed, but in the old days it was a lot more critical to do whatever you need to do to keep away from the falls.
For each of us there is a Niagara Falls looming ahead.
The wise man sees danger far off and avoids it.
The fool plows forward without concern.
Both the wise and the fool are self-responsible.
God is not pressuring anyone.
He is telling you about the danger, has provided the safe path and it is your choice what to do about it.
About Islam - read the back of the book first, and you will see where the "Convert or die" Muslims get their stance from.
That is not from God- it is Satan in operation.
Turning from Self (repenting), placing your trust in Jesus and what He did in your place will result in His spirit coming into you.
That is righteousness imbued in and to you.
After I did the above BY experience, no amount of theories or pseudo science can negate my standing.

The hard part (and I mean sweating-hard) for myself was making the decision to get off the throne of my own life and placing the real king there. The King who died in my place.
THAT is entering the Ark.
The law of planting and harvesting dictates judgment is coming.
Those who are actually IN the ark will rise over it.
Just as in Noah's day- this is a one shot deal.
At least, humbly ask the God of Heaven if this is true.

Professor, that's the thing. Humanity is not separated into two categories. Therearent just wise men, and fools. There are wise men in every category of life and belief, and there are fools, everywhere. You can't say I'm a fool for not believing in something that you yourself have no tangible proof, exists. I'd be a fool to take as truth, your personal experiences as reason for belief. Especially when my personal experiences contradict yours. What on earth makes you think you're the only one who knows what's goin on in this world? No offence, but you remind me of the homeless dudes downtown who refuse medicine for their mental illness. On the day after the day you think the world is ending: I implore you to seek help. Psychosis is no joke.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Sadly, if the Prof is correct it will be our last pay day, as my next is the 30th of Sept.
if the Rupture occurs on the 25th, well....no mas dinero and JHC will be sad.
On the upside, the Rupture will make the zombie apocalypse look like a 5 year old's birthparty. Plenty of rampaging and killing at the hands of the minions from Hell. At least we have that to look forward to.

Well, Shell and I are planning on spending that weekend, from the 26th onward, in Blackpool. If we're all meant to get ruptured or whatever, I won't bother booking the hotel.
