Sounds like you may have gotten off on the wrong foot with the Hobbit. He doesn't kiss a lot of atheist ass. Nor as a veteran of more years here than me does he need to answer to anyone's expectations of guests; the shoe is on the other foot. This place isn't first and foremost an atheist playhouse. It's a community and we're not all looking for a tight chorus to sing with.

New members not knowing the forum stance on anyone making generalisations about atheism that don't happen to match the collective consensus here.

That is essentially what you do. You are smart enough not to do it to any of the mods because they could actually ban you, you are in fact the troll. You simply refuse to engage in any kind of discussion. All you do it claim you are right, and ignore and evade any questions that are put to you and then throw an insult.
Do you hold real life conversations like this? Because if you do, I wouldn't be surprised if you've been punched in the face multiple times on multiple occasions. You couldn't get away with the way you talk, in real life. Why don't you do yourself a favour and everyone else and just go away and don't come back. I will never understand how so many people have repped you, you are the biggest troll here and if anyone new turned up and acted the way you do, they would be banned within a day.

With my sense of humour I'm cursed with sticking in the knife. The staff are prime targets unfortunately. They do an amazing job and I love them all. Even if they don't get it sometimes (or ever if your name is last poet ).

I torment because I must.

No I've never had any violent reaction in real life. People get frustrated, sure. But they're intelligent enough to realise the joke. I do tone it down a bit if the person I'm interfacing clearly can't handle it. It's difficult to tell in this format. I could be nice but where's the fun in that.

This isn't about differences in opinion, this is about his trolling and refusal to engage in discussion. Doesn't it say in the rules that you have to actually discuss when you are in a conversation?
