Haha You son of a gun! You know it's Exian. As in ex-Christian. You're trying to wind me up!
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."
For context, this is the previous verse:
"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

That would be the 14 second bracket.

Ended up with a best time of 12.05 and
115 mph into a stiff headwind- shucks- missed the elevens by a whisker.
Had a front wheel off the ground once or twice- car twisted up pretty good on launch.
Looked completely stock.
Sent Car Craft a pic and blurb, they put it in "readers rides" - April 2003.
Pretty cool!
That said, am I the only one who thinks it's weird that Professor is a gear head? Prof, seriously, why can't you apply the same real world practical reason you bring to engine performance to the other areas of your life? I assume you wouldn't trust a transmission specialist who based his work on faith in the ravings of some lunatic wagon builder from pre-industrial times. Yet here you are -- a 21st Century man, clinging to ancient writings from a world long dead and little understood today. I think even you would be appalled if you could encounter your Bible heroes in the flesh and actually realize how ignorant, primitive, and superstitious they were.
What will you do when your nutty claims and predictions don't pan out? Will you wonder whether the New Testament is really the repository of arcane knowledge you credit it with? Will you question your approach to evidence? Will you acknowledge how wrong you were when, for instance, the Rapture doesn't happen or when Obama peacefully leaves office at the end of his term? Or will you just deny and spin like apocalyptic-minded Christians have been doing for centuries? I don't want you to leave. I want you to stick around and acknowledge that you were wrong and to put such foolishness behind you.
My guess, however, is that you will do neither. The fault will be in the interpretation, not the prophecy itself, and the game will go on right to the grave. I'm not in the mood to gloat. I just think it's sad and wish better for you.

Very nice prof. It's a big leap from 14s to low 12s! Was the car street-able?
I used to drag race a BMW M3, mostly stock - just a light-weight flywheel and drag radials. Best time in that car was 13.2@104. M3s aren't really drag cars - more for the windy roads - but you race what you brought.
One of my life goals (everyone's gotta have a goal!) is to have a low 12 sec daily driver. Got my eye on the new 2015 Mustang with 435hp. Showroom stock it will probably do mid-12s and with minor mods, 11s are easy.

You'd have more cash leftover for modification if you got yourself an 06 WRX STI. 0-60 in 4.4 quarter mile in 12.8 stock (there are faster models). At 2-24k you'd be getting a whole lot more for your money than a new Mustang (24k at the low end). Plus, you know..it's a 4 door, which I think fits the daily driver portion a whole lot better. But....I suppose it isn't as pretty eh?

All true, however, I want one more run at having a loud, snarly V8. Before too long, I don't know if such creatures will exist. A big block would be nice, but 435hp from a 5.0 is OK too.
The sound from the WRX flat4 leaves me cold.
At the track, I've seen what some do to their WRXs. Insane - but also some arrive and depart on trailers.
Yeah, the 2 door/4 door thing is an issue, but for our lifestyle, not too bad. Our kids are older and mostly, I drive by myself or with the GF.

How can otherwise intelligent people not be able to distinguish between superstition and logic? It appears the new science of neurotheology is about to get some answers. The next question is will they find a cure?

Before commenting, I thought to do a few pics off my photobucket act. for you car guys-
The Malibu frame got shortened 15 inches, Tornado rear wheels, temp spare front wheels w/ VW tires. Running boards are actually screwed to the frame.
Top mechanics are all over it. This was after I gave the car to my son.
A beautiful Fall day at NYRP.
Finally, this is my buddy with his insane 5500# 1200 hp "Race car" which runs low 10s ( a pic I did off his calendar).
And you guys think I am nuts?
I admit to liking toys, now to the serious stuff:
Tonus, No they are not after me- the 'puter is old, that's all.
They were after Andrew Breitbart and did what they wanted to him and the guy who was to do the autopsy, I heard.
Robby, again, you guys will be here for awhile after the Rapture- the world never ends.
Rythm and Crossless, I am a consummate experimenter and tinkerer, having done incredibly stupid, dangerous and unlawful acts with motorized things as a kid,(how I thank God we didn't get caught, and I cringe with a bit of fear, when I remember some of the stuff we did).
Having a couple of severe injuries, I have learned caution.
I also feel some security in knowing what is up the road.
It is beyond a mere curiosity for me. Obsession?
I KNOW this is what I am supposed to do.
Obama will not be leaving office quietly.
The earth will cease turning before he fails to fulfill all that is spoken of him.
His destiny is to go from usurping the Presidency to usurping the position of Messiah.
I know this like I know my name.
The only issue is when.
I have nothing against him or any other person on earth.
(there is a good shot that doing so, will disqualify one from the Departure).
When you have thrown all the ingredients into the pot and it is done cooking- the only thing left is the call for "Soup's ready!"
It would require a big cookbook to list all the ingredients we have to date. There is a lot I haven't told you guys.

*lights cigarette*
*takes deep drag, slowly lets it out*
*carefully adjusts sunglasses*
So... you heard, did you?
