how bout you shoot jesus instead and kill him since he is your sin is going to be forgiven not to mention he will rise again in 3 days.

You didn't pay any attention to my last post about this. It was Jesus' will that he die on the cross. He stopped Peter's attempt to try to save him. As for being immoral. Yes, I am immoral, but less so because of the work of the Holy Spirit in my life. Christians don't claim to be perfectly moral, but that is our goal.

so you would watch... if i was supposedly going to die for peoples sins.. i would be getting people to help me i wouldn't want to knowingly die for people to do terrible stuff then throw it on me and be forgiven. no you own up to it and pay your dues.

Do you also think Mickey Mouse is true?

Mickey Mouse is true - as is James Bond - and Harry Potter - and Sherlock Holmes - and Bugs Bunny - and the christ - and allah.

They are all FICTIONAL characters created by humans.

Isn't it funny to think that the earliest humans - who prayed to NATURAL things like fire - and the SUN - and the Moon - actually prayed to real things - when today - humans pray to fictional things!

We are required to repent for our sins and to turn from them and follow Christ. Do you think we should not be forgiven? You're telling me what you would do, but God knew that the only way we could be saved was through the cross. What am I supposed to do; turn down God's gift to me? That's what Jesus died for. It would be an insult to God for me to turn it down.

if you gladly acknowledge that you are taking sin something that doesn't exist from a fairy tale and putting it onto you fine. but to say everyone is sinner i call BS. you say original sin i say really dumb concept for being controlled. Clap

"We" who? You got a mouse in your pocket?

Forgiven for what? Saved from what? A myth?

Let's put original sin aside because I don't necessarily believe in original sin either. Did you never sin? Do you know anybody who never sinned?

Saved from an eternity without God, which would be extremely unpleasant. Whether you like it or not, God is present in this world.

Yeap, I never sinned. Neither did you or anyone else for that matter. Sin is an immoral act against God. No God, no immoral act can be commited against him.

Like it or not, you have no evidence for that.

All you have is myth and a warped, nonsensical theology.

Assuming you believe in the trinity, riddle me this: God, Jesus and the holy Spirit are supposed to be one entity.

So Jesus, who is god, sacrificed himself to himself to return to his plane of existence. What kind of sacrifice is that supposed to be? And to whom was he talking in Luke 22:42 about removing this cup from him? To himself?
