It doesn't need to have meaning, but it does. I also prefer it to have meaning.
so your meaning for this life and afterlife is to praise a deity who created you for the sole purpose of having someone to praise him?
Your god doubts its own existence, what kind of all knowing, all powerful being is this,it wants that his creation is constantly praising him,and if the creation refuses to praise him it sends them to hell. I think that your god has serious mental issues.
Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?

You've got it all wrong as to why God created us. His purpose in creating all of us is to have a voluntary loving relationship with him. I personally tend to believe that's the way it will be in eternity, but some us will take the non-stop flight and some of us will have a layover on the way. I also don't see any indication that he doubts his own existence.

God wants us to voluntary love him for all of eternity or he'll burn us for all of eternity. Sounds like a loving god to me.

Sounds like a serious basket-case. In the real world, when you see an attention-whore like that, you ask if mommy and daddy didn't love him enough.

Because god is a horrible jealous evil malevolent being that want's people to praise him and kiss his ass. that's if he exists.... but more than likely no gods exist.

That sounds like wishful thinking and imagination, not anything you could actually know.

You seem to be working with a rather ironic military definition of voluntary. Volunteer or else/love me or I'll punish until you do. Setting aside the meaning of voluntary your meaning of life appears to be to keep god from being lonely. Poor guy needed a pet, so he made Adam and Eve.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god. If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

Hoax? Maybe.
Delusion? Certainly.
