I don't see it as a problem.
Godhead... thanks for your response.
So I guess you're a monist then considering you believe all is consciousness? But rather than being a monist materialist and believing there is only matter and no mind.... you instead believe all is mind and not matter. So you're an entirely mental monist. Lol. And as opposed to dualism which would contain both belief in mind and matter and them as separate. I'm a monist too but I am a materialist... I think consciousness comes from brains only. I don't believe in mind in the sense of at all separate from brains. EDIT: A question I just thought of: If all consciousness is intertwined according to you... then what happens when someone loses their consciousness? Does the entire universe/God go to sleep while they do? Or is their consciousness transferred to somewhere else? EvF RE: what would make you change your beliefs?

I can't think staright right now, my team just won the world cup. I'll look up all those terms in a while, and I'll get bak to you. EvF - Ok yes I'm a monist, because I believe that the universe is one thing. I don't know about mind, what is mind? In answer to your question, I believe that literally everything is consciousness and energy, and that includes the body, and it includes events, and also relationships between all things. I believe that when I "die", my consciousness (the one talking to you now, the real me) remains, and may (can) take on another, say, physical, body.

For who? Not for me.
Sorry for being late but I just found this thread so I would like to reply to the question posed on the thread of what would convince me of the existence of God. I too would require that God or at least Jesus himself would present himself to me in person in his glorified body and let me do the same thing he did for Thomas. I want to put my hand in his side and my fingers through the holes in his hands from the nails as a result of him being crucified. John 20:25,27

In fact he also showed his back to Moses your bible said that he has done this and Jesus has also shown himself physically on several occasions in the N.T. after his alleged crucifixion. If he did this then, why is it that he could not do the same thing now?

What about when you lose consciousness without dying? Such as by a bump on a head, a coma... a deep sleep, etc?
