Not so horribly long ago, our family enjoyed a few heart warming videos from Where the Hell is Matt? . My daughter pulled one of the videos up at a friends house and instantly got in trouble. She'd said a bad word "hell." The rather adorable, mind broadening, and surely harmless video was never watched.
*sigh*
The friend's family was, alas, evangelical christian. They're even good, kind people most of the time. And unlike some fudies I know the mother's response to Harry Potter was to read it and then declare it ok for her children's consumption.
But, "hell," hell, no apparently. It's not even clear that that's what the commandment means:
It's not clear "hell" fits in there at all. Certainly Matt Harding didn't expect anyone to send anyone there when titling "Where the Hell is Matt?"
So I'm humored to announce that swearing is good for your health.

It will lower your blood pressure and increase your pain tolerance. It may help with social bonding too.
So, why can't we heathen god damn curse?

If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god. If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.
