Irrational people can find (bad) reasons to kill innocent people. Rational people can find (good) reasons not to kill innocent people.

If you don't mind my asking, I wonder what you think of muslims immigrating to western countries where freedom of speech is so highly valued who then murder cartoonists for insulting their prophet? Don't you think there is something wrong with asking to be admitted to a new country and then subverting the values of the country they would join? I'm glad we don't admit many muslims to the U.S. I don't trust them to honor our secular values. If I was a european, I'd push to deport anyone who spoke against freedom of the press or even questioned the appropriateness of subjecting the 'prophet' to the same criticism as any other historic figure. Don't like it? Leave.

No, atheism has never been a reason for a war. A participant or two may have been agnostic or atheist but that was never the theme of any communistic war. It doesn't work that way and only a religion addled brain would imagine that it does.

WW2 was fought with modern armies and modern weapons, something islamic nations suck at. Tiny israel has kicked your ass for years despite being a little desert shit-hole of a country itself. Islamists only kill unarmed civilians, or they themselves get killed like so many cords of firewood.

Science is a better religion than islam. With science, I can prove science exists and that it loves me. Science can prove anything I want it to, I can prove that I am God and I can live forever in a test tube. Science never demands people to kill, it rarely makes any demands. It does sometimes tell me to draw rude pictures on sacred religious original documents. But I think it's just joking, I have rarely done that.
