New Testament arguments

Sure, once or twice. Ever watched Dexter?
(assume I also have a point..lol)
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

In fact there was a moral character on the show by the name of Tyrese, except the fans hated him because he was percieved as weak. This is also true of games like Day-Z, where the problem wasn't the zombies it was other players. The game basically devolved into killing other players on sight because you just couldn't trust people. Did I participate in that behavior? nope, but i also died alot. I consider those two examples a microcosm of what people are truly like when you remove accountability. Accountability is always present, if you believe in God. yes, I've watched Dexter, saving the last few episodes. RE: New Testament arguments

You're talking about the things that fictional people do, and the things that people do with their avatars in fantasy settings....as though fictional people and fantasy games have some binding thing to say about actual people, or reality.
I don;t know that believing in god would have much to do with anything regarding the above, personally. After all, you believe in a god, right..and you're answer is -can't rule it out-...and I don't, but mine is -nope-. So either this godly accountability shit is malfunctioning....or.....? -Having watched Dexter...do you consider that you may be a serial killer just waiting for opportunity? That somehow the things that dexter does..in the show, says something about you, in reality? Also, have you considered the possibility that I have extrasensory abilities?

There were / are two moral characters, one being a priest, and they are both hated by fans because their morality is seen as a weakness. [/quote] I prefer the total planet destruction we see the Death Star wreak in Star Wars. Nice and quick, flash, bang, and we've become an asteroid belt! No time to kill one another, no time to loot the electronics store! |
