I've only caught the show a couple of times this week(I'm still not sure why I watch it anymore), but it was fun to see the disgusted look on Al Roker's face when they brought up the healing power of prayer.

I get freedom of speech and no you cant get rid of all crap by force of gun, but it is still important for more people to put pressure on crap like that to get media to be more responsible.

That's a stupid reason not to own one. I think it is extremely important to know what is going on in the world. I get the "Not this shit again" reaction to crap, but you still need to keep your eye on it and respond to it even if you cant force all of it out of existence.

Not responding to crap allows that crap to grow like weeds.

Reading comprehension goes a long ways, Brian.

Firstly, I didn't say why I don't own one, I wrote that this complaint of yours makes me glad I don't own one.

Secondly, there are other, and better, ways to learn what is going on in the world than watching television.

Thirdly, there are different ways of responding to the crap in the mainstream media. You think yours is the only right way. Color me shocked.

No I got what you were saying, I am sick of crap ass much as you, it was not really so much aimed at you but more for anyone reading it, I am not a fan of "why bother". Yes there is more media than just TV but it is still media.

Um no, I will never say my way is the only way. Saying I am no fan of absolutes which I have been consistent about is not a demand on my part to be a clone of me.

You have to bother, and I agree whatever way you are comfortable with, but TV is still part of that.
