Adam and Eve's IQ
#51
RE: Adam and Eve's IQ
Sure, I have as much free will as I think I have... I think!

I'm still hoping there is a reason why I shouldn't go out and kill kids. I'm not actually going to do it, you understand. It's a thought experiment to demonstrate a point. It would be good to know that a Christian somewhere can tell me why I wouldn't be doing them a favour by doing so.

I'll get you started... What about their family? Well, I can let them all make their peace with Jesus, confess their sins and so on, then kill all them too. Same with their friends. And so on. Then I've done them all a favour. And I pay the price. How selfless of me! The afterlife is forever, who cares about the doormat stage they are at now? They will all thank me for it, yeah? And they'll all be together again right away in heaven.

How am I doing?

Because God put it there? Because God created them to require food before it was possible to die, and an apple is food? Because God designed a world that could not possibly be hospitable to a species of anything that doesn't die because there isn't enough surface area on the planet to allow for infinite reproduction without death. If there was no death before sin, why would they even be created with the feeling of hunger? They ate it because the story makes it very clear that God created an environment and then a species of primate that was inherently dependent on a number of things within it that only make sense AFTER the "consequences" for sinning are impuned. It's a load of ridiculous fairy tale holy-shit!

You really should become familiar with the story, simple errors show simple mindedness.
Now where does it say in the story that god would allow the world to become over populated, the reason man's numbers grew so fast was the need of many for the family to survive. God never told them to breed huge numbers of children, but all in all God knew the fall would happen and provided for it. God was way ahead of the curve.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

You are quite fond of stating bullshit that means nothing, are you not?

Clearly.

Another 11 hours and no Christian can tell me why I shouldn't go out and kill kids.

Does this worry anyone?

If you can't see the stupidity in your asking, we can't help you.

I'd worry more about the IQ level of people who think that fucking story is true.  If you're looking for stupid...start there.

No, it doesn't work that way.  Read a science book.
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.
