They can't publish the exit polls until 10pm. Should be only a few mins after that though.

True, I forgot that.
They've just come through, showing the Tories as the largest party on 316, with Labour in second on 239, SNP 58 and Lib Dems trailing with 10 seats. Plaid Cymru are showing as 4, UKIP and Greens on 2 and the others making up the remaining 19. Cameron needs to make up to at least 326 to form a majority government, of course. The question is who is he going to align with?

Amazing how different the exit polls are to the opinion polls.
Terrible to see the SNP get so many gains on the exit poll, happy to see Labour getting a bosching.

They always do.

Which if true would mean that the scots have let the hated tories in by default. This may be enough to kill the SNP in Scotland. Or it could just bolster their anger and we will be doomed to rinse and repeat every few years. You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid. Tinkety Tonk and down with the Nazis. First result is in: Sunderland South stays a safe Labour seat with a 13,000 majority, up about 2,000 from last time and a swing to Labour of 4%. Though there's been a 7% swing to UKIP.

Lib dems wiped out in Sunderland south.
UKIP polled second. 100% UKIP will come third in terms of votes this election. Think of that what you will. Love atheistforums.org? Consider becoming a patreon and helping towards our server costs.

So lets just stop counting now. that gives labour 100% of the seats. You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid. Tinkety Tonk and down with the Nazis. |
