There was also a rumour going around that the software company behind Wolfenstein, id, got pissed off at Nintendo over their censorship of the game. So they gave it to a xtian gaming company called Wisdom Tree, infamous for making bible themed ripoffs of popular titles, telling them to do a xtian version. They came up with this, their first and only SNES title:
and it's as shit as you can imagine it would be. You have to run around the ark, shooting goats with a slingshot catapult - you know, just like in the bible. The cartridge is shaped like that to get around the lockout chip, apparently installed by Nintendo after they found out about WT was making Nintendo games without permission. The Angry Video Game Nerd dedicated a whole episode to WT and featured this steaming turd.

The Spectrum did have an impressive 16 colours. It's a shame 15 of them were yellow and the other one was purple.

I think yours may have been broken, rob.
And you could get a 48k version, with the 128k coming out later. Sounds astonishingly primitive now, but just look at all the classic games it had. Where's the modern equivalent of Pyjamarama for instance?
