In JP 1 it was very disappointing when the velociraptors failed to dismember and eat the kids. They deserved one last square meal before becoming t-Rex snack themselves.
BTW, what kind of keen, hyper alert and intelligent velociraptor is going to fail to notice a T-Rex walking over tiled floor into the room?

Bit of an odd thing to establish the T Rex's walking sending tremors in the ground, then suddenly in the climax he somehow sneaks up on everyone to take down the raptors. The movie isn't perfect, but I still enjoyed it.

My friend who has the same reverence for the books/movies as I did said he enjoyed it. It was a clear reboot of the plot of the first one. The CG was great, the acting was meh, and he said spend the extra money to see it in IMAX 3D.
I'm waiting for the brand new theater here in Spring Hill to open next week. I'm not driving to Franklin...

It made $511 million over the weekend. That's erm...that's a lot of money. The biggest opening weekend in history, in fact.

I just finished watching it.
As a huge fan of the book and the first film, I thoroughly enjoyed this one as well.

I LOVED IT... until the final 20 minutes. Had they known how to wrap it up, it would have exceeded my expectations and I might even have called it a classic. The final 20 minutes, however, were fucking awful. So, though it was an enjoyable film, it was, overall, mediocre.
