RE: What would you consider to be evidence for God?

What I would consider evidence: anything that supports whatever claim is being made, that is proportionate to that claim and which can be examined to determine how valid it is.
What I would consider compelling evidence: well now, that would depend on the evidence, wouldn't it?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Would looking at it from the other direction be helpful?
What do you not consider evidence?
Here are a few:
1.Arguments from personal experience
2.Philosophical arguments
3.Post-hoc rationalizations
A worldview that utilizes these as evidence is suspect.

Claiming to have a god on your side but being unable to convince a bunch of feeble minded Godless atheists of a single thing doesn't seem to hold up.

If a god wants to provide evidence that he is real (and why wouldn't he?) he should make his word appear in every home on the planet, at the same time, in whatever language the people spoke, printed on an unknown and indestructible material that was impossible to analyse... then i might start to think that this might be something worth looking at, but an old book on paper.. no he needs to do better than that!
