Which headphones should I get?

I have some Sennheiser MM450 bluetooth noise cancelling headphones that I absolutely love. The sound is brilliant and they collapse fairly small for carrying around. The best thing compared to other similar headphones is that if the battery runs out you can plug in the cable and continue wired rather than BT.

Those are the ones I'm currently using. They do a decent job blocking outside noise, while still letting you hear someone talking to you. Laptop fan and disk spin-up noises are completely blocked. Cars passing by are still audible. Sound quality is good enough for my ears. Like GC says, if you're listening to mp3's, a lot of the quality is already cropped out so your sound quality becomes the same regardless of which speakers you use... as long as you don't use some really crappy ones which further degrade the audio.

I would like to contest that. Unless you're using crappy constant 128 bitrate mp3s from the 90s from first generation encoders, differences between headphones are gigantic even with lossy compression, say in mp3s or AACs bought from Amazon or iTunes, or even most Youtube videos containing professionally recorded music. I'd go so far as to say that only with very very good headphones will you even have a chance to notice a difference between modern lossy and lossless media. I can only recommend going to a store and listening to some acoustic music on a Sennheiser 650 or 700 or something equivalent by AKG etc., to get an idea about the high water mark that can be reached for under a grand.

I love the earbuds. I used them even before I had an iPhone. I've had the same pair for over two years and use them daily.

Also, they fit my ears better than other earphones. The shape is different than any other design.

It's probably my best choice - the price is decent for quality - I'm a little picky but because I've never owned an expensive pair of earphones (over 100€/$) so as long as I don't know how good it is I'll keep believing apple earbuds are great. Sony earphones do the trick quite well and have the advantage of durability, for the prince of 10€ they're amazingly good compared to other similar priced items. Apple earbuds are 30€ so it's a decent price, I had a pair when I bought my ipod nano but they broke and the quality was so much better

No thanks, I think my sony earphones did exactly the same trick (or better for the price) but I'm looking for something better - I'm really gonna buy apple earbuds (probably) and it makes sense considering I'm using an apple product. For the record, I use mp3 320KBPS but I'm considering using Flac files if I find the correct app. By the way, the files in itunes are not mp3 but AAC encoder so I dunno if it makes a difference. Since I started downloading whole albums I notice a good difference in sound quality.

I used Sony for years, but then I noticed the left speaker tends to break after a couple of years... Just enough for the warranty to expire... And it's always the left one... A friend of mine also showed me his also broken on the left side... Coincidence?
The sound on these Pioneer is comparable to Sony, but with a little less bass and better definition all round.

The only ones I use came with my Iphone, there okay for the music on the phone, I mostly use them while I read. When I want to listen to music I would rather set down between my Klipsch and let the sound flow.
