AF Biggest Loser/Fitness Challenge-May 3 to Whenever We're Not Fat Anymore
RE: AF Biggest Loser/Fitness Challenge-May 3 to Whenever We're Not Fat Anymore
So I had forgotten to do my measurements at first today. When I did, a few hours ago, I found my waist was only about 0.25'' bigger than the 40'' that is considered to be healthy and normal.

Because of vanity sizing, many people with a 40'' waist can fit into 34'' pants or almost.

My goal is a 38'' or 39'' waist and fitting into size 33 or smaller pants. But unless things take a strange turn for the worst, I should reach the 40'' milestone in a month.

It sure looks like you can! Just saying you are probably one of the ones that are like that.

I keep plateauing, but I'm still slowly trending downward.

We're in Seattle for KG's two week evaluation. She gets to move on to soft foods.

Doc sent a referral for me to be considered for bariatric surgery. I'm pretty sure I'll be accepted, I meet the criteria and as far as I know there is nothing in my medical history that contraindicates having the procedure

Also - I already had to stop wearing my size 52 pants, and now my size 48s are pretty loose. I'm on the last notch of my belt and it's not exactly snug either. Haven't measured but I believe I've lost 4 inches since early December. Time for a new belt and new pants. I'm pretty sure I can fit into the 44s of the same brand (the waistband stretches about 4 inches).

I cam also wear all of my 2xl jackets. Yay!

Nice!! I wish I had measured. I’m missing milestones.

TL;DR - Down another 2.8-3.0 lbs from my last recorded weigh in.

I don't really trust my scale lately so I don't record weight unless I get at least 3 close resilts that are consistent with the range I would reasonably be in. I was on my physician's scale two days ago and accounting for clothing, it's about where I'd expect it to be compared to that to that weight.

Insurance approved my bariatric referral yesterday, which I believe now puts the decision as to whether I'm a surgical candidate in the surgeon's hands I haven't decided for sure that I am getting the procedure or not. If I had a history of being able to keep weight off I wouldn't.

I had a few weeks of a pretty strict diet, mostly all meat and veg, no bread, rice, oats or wheat.  I just think they tend to bloat me up.

I've just finished a few amazing cheat days in a row, I had KFC, popcorn and a small amount of alcohol because my ex who I'm still pretty close with passed her driving test.  Plus toast, porridge and rice and all the other stuff which I avoided.

Yesterday I had a 13 hour shift which put me on nights with the Muslims as they were breaking their fast and they shared some more fried chicken, pizza and fries with me.

My body doesn't look bloated in the slightest though, and if anything I think my body looks better but this could just be because I'm looking at myself while I'm in a better mood.

I'm back at the gym and on healthy food today but tomorrow I'm taking my daughter to blackpool zoo and might go along the beach.  This means I have no choice but to eat seaside donuts or fish and chips.

I still want to stick to insane diet and exercise most of the time but I do love a few good cheat days.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.
