I forget where your "here" is. Somehow I've thought of you as being in England. Wrong?
I am currently without lap top having fried my old lap top with what turned out to be a very expensive lemonade. (Note, never leave a lap top charging in the seat beside the one you're eating at, even under the table, even with the lid closed.) In trying to get onto my flickr account I came across a photo of myself taken by my nephew, standing in front of the restaurant we went to in Berkeley. Looks like I was trying to blend in with the Samarai statue beside me.

The one the statue is holding may be bigger than mine. I thought Kay was from Norway or some Scandinavian country...
Is this what you wanted to show?

Thank you, Pocaracas. I think I see how you did that. I'll have to try that again sometime.

Thanks Nora!
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Ramen! Though I can understand the confusion, since I speak Swedish as my native language..

So I would not be too far off to fantasize about you as my viking maiden?

Not really, since I am a descendant of vikings (my grand-uncle has actually put a lot of effort in figuring out our family's history)
EDIT: Actually, closer to my generation we were land pirates, who made faux beacons so that ship would run ashore and then they would loot the ship. Yarr!

Unless your uncle owns a time machine, I'd heavily dispute that claim. If you come from titled/noble ancestors, you might have a chance of establishing some degree of certainty (with something as uncertain as paternity when the family name is handed down the male line)... otherwise, you'd be very lucky to get past the 18th century - long after the time of the Vikings.
I speak from experience.
