Really? because foreigners always tell me how portuguese is harder than spanish. For a foreigner it's not an easy task to learn portuguese portuguese (not brazilian portuguese)

And Portuguese has more sounds, more "vowels". But written portugese is easier than written spanish... less extra letters. É -- es bem -- bien connosco -- con nosotros à - a la o - el os - los eu - yo Also, spanish people can't say "space" without saying "espace"... there must be something wrong in those tingues...

I heard a story that spaniards talk with a lisp because there was some king with a lisp and he made everyone talk that way. Is there any truth to this?
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
