I'm going to stick this video here for lack of a better place to put it. I don't want to start a new thread for it. This guy is talking about why Trump's supporters don't care about his lies or his criminality. It fits perfectly with so many of the things that I have said about voters just being sick of constantly being presented with choosing the lesser of two evils, and we actually need to nominate someone who is good rather than simply 'not Trump'.

The two Trump golf courses in Scotland have lost something like $200 million under Trump management. The losses are covered by loans from the Trump Organization. But where is that money coming from? Trump Co doesn't have anything like sufficient income

It's nothing got to do with your bullshit "lesser of two evils nonsense". Yes "centrist" democrats are economic republicans in all but name, but Dumbfuck didn't get his base from those disaffected by them (more voters were lost to fraud in 2016 than apathy), he got his base because he's a neo-nazi.
You see, the dirty secret that the republitraitors were hiding for the last thirty years is that they are a far right, white nationalist and authoritarian anti-democratic party. They operated through dog whistles and allusions, all the while stealthily eroding the already weak democratic norms and reasoned discourses in American politics and public life. Dumbfuck came along in 2016 and won the internal struggle simply because he was the first to openly admit his ideology, he brought nobody new to the polls.
In November 2016 the people who voted Dumbfuck were the same people voting Mittens, McCain, Shrub, Dole, Shrub Snr, Ray-gun, Ford, Tricky Dicky and Goldwater before him. The white nationalist men, and as many of their wives, mothers, sisters and daughters they could beat up came out to vote republitraitor every single time, and nobody else. Couple that with an ongoing effort to disenfranchise anybody who didn't believe in their ideology, and probably a fair amount of ballot stuffing as well, and a compliant corporate, and thus very right wing, media and you get the reason why, while the Democrats by far better reflect (even in their most corporate guises) what the US public both want and vote for, the republitraitor party has won election time after time after time.

Rand Paul has stepped up to be the fourth Republican senator who pledges to vote against Trump's emergency declaration. Trump is probably going to veto the resolution, but this still might be a good sign that Republican support for Trump is continuing to weaken. And it is a really great statement that Trump's border emergency simply is not the will of the people.
