I don't believe the entire scientific community is lying.  Just that there are some that desperately want to protect their evolution claims against the facts of ID and they go to some great lengths at times to do that.

It is an intelligent system used to check for errors in this system.  It requires a mind to design it.  It doesn't come from some undirected process.
