By chance?
RE: By chance?
Survival of the adequate.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

Given that nothing has ever been perfectly adapted outside of some NatGeo docus, I agree. If you're fit to survive you pass your genes along. Albino zebras get selected out quickly.

So did my first wife.

At this point you’re going to need a miracle sequence of mutations to complete the giraffe. Who feels lucky for those particular mutations to take place?

You again display ignorance about what you talk about. Your idea of evolution seems to be derived of pokemon, e.g. a being suddenly tansforms into another. Plain wrong. In beings with less reproductive rates like giraffes, even humans, it takes milions of years of cumulative cycles of mutations and natural selection. Many beings that do not fit are selected out, i.e. dead.

You only seem interested in parroting old creationist arguments and you don't even try to understand why you are wrong, simply because your lack of knowlege and the obvious bias to confirm your religious beliefs.

The reason people reply to you is a gesture of kindness and the hope there are others reading this thread oh not so vaunted to remain in darkness.

That sort of question generally gets the reply along the lines of;

"AH! The 'Super' Designer is ulta special and so nothing we can know about said thing need apply..... Like pesky things such as 'Beggings', 'Middles' or 'Ends'. The Super Designer is just 'Other' that way, honest."

Coffee

Creationists who haven't studied evolution sometimes ask "oh yeah, if people evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys? (check mate, atheist!)" The question reveals that they haven't studied the subject.

The questions "what caused the first cause?" or "who designed the designer?" are the equivalents in the field of theology. They show that the person asking doesn't understand the argument.

To be fair to atheists who don't understand theology, though, it's true that the majority of Christians don't understand it either. They are using a children's-level Sunday School version, and a lot of atheists assume that's all there is.

It's frustrating. It's like hearing an Ayn Randian and a Creationist debate Darwin, and neither one knows what they're talking about.

Quite the rant for somebody who relies on a cartoon version of evolution that was spoon fed to you by your pastor.
