Ok, I'm going to ask you to drop the innocent act just for a moment. I don't believe for a moment that you're as dumb as you seem to want to pretend to be. By "middle ground" I was clearly referring to the gulf between the extreme positions of your special magic book being (apparently) perverted by extremists on the one hand, and your strawmanning me into a position of banning the whole damn thing on the other. I never mentioned condemning people in any of that and I'm wondering why you want to get me to say that?
The reason I would react the way I said to anyone expressing the "dead child" thing is for personal reasons. And no I'm not going to share with you.
I think it's better to just take what I say at face value instead of assuming I'm lying, and then holding that assumption against me. I guess I must be dumb then, but I honestly was not sure what you meant by middle ground, which is why I asked you to clarify. Sorry if this upset you.
No problem, I respect your decision not to.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
