I will admit in my early atheism I vented quite a bit at any and all theists. This was on another atheist forum a long time ago. I think it was a stage I was going through. And yeah, a lot of that was because I was an ex-theist as compared to what I call a "free-born atheist".

To figure out that you had been duped for all those years is a harsh reality. And then realizing that the people that duped you were duped as kids too makes you really upset with them. After all, if you were able to figure it out, then why didn't they? If they had figured it out when they were younger then I wouldn't have been dragged into it myself. It makes you really bitter at all the oblivious Christians that are causing so much harm because they are either unable to objectively cogitate on the matter or actually prefer to not question it.

I think I'm over the worst of that now. Also I'm trying to be a nicer person online and not get too irate at people or ideas. That'll probably be hard to do at times.
