There are plenty of consequences to society when we decide that a person's job is more important than the life of a human being.
Is your job more important than a my hypothetical brain tumor? If one of us got to keep one and one had to lose, would you keep your job or have me keep my brain tumor? A brain tumor is made up of human DNA right? But it cannot survive outside of my body...not a person but it is living....hmm
