Why can't Christians say that parts of the Old Testament don't apply??..

Why should I imagine that there's no Bible, I think it's unreasonable, just because many people have not seen a Bible or many christians have not read the Bible what does that have to do with me? I do not find the Bible to be a burden, as a matter of fact I find it very rewarding I've learned a considerable amount about God, life, ect. I recieve a great peace from reading scriptures, I can not see any reason to give up something that helps make my life so much better.

Have you tried drugs instead? LSD gives great insight into life the universe and everything. Ecstasy teaches you a lot about love. Cannabis helps you relax and be at peace.

I mean, that's what you seem to be saying, for you the bible is a drug that you are addicted to.

I do understand you though. I've known a few hardcore christians who have told me they couldn't imagine life without god, and I have seen the sincerity in their eyes and voice. They simply couldn't understand how I can live without god, they sympathize with me, like I have a disability or something. I would be quite amusing if it wasn't so sad.

Yes Loki_999 I've used many drugs in the past, never found one that gave me a hint about life nor brought peace and joy into my life. In the end all I got out of drugs was an empty wallet and a troubled life. I have found God through the Lord Jesus Christ to be the true peace, I've seen and lived life with Him and would not ever desire to do or serve anyone or anything else for the rest of my days.
