So the very fact that your friends have differing and, in their minds, the one and only true belief doesn't lead you to suspect something might be wrong with all this?
Because none of us can undeniably show that anyone else is wrong on this point (even if we can present enough of a case to show you might be wrong), does not in and of itself make it wrong. It means that we all see the evidence pointing to a different conclusion. In the end we will choose to believe what we believe based on our interpretation of the facts. Some investigate more than others, while some feel there is no need to investigate and they will believe anyway which is their prerogative.
You might believe there is no God, I believe there is. Is there harm in either?
We are not made happy by what we acquire but by what we appreciate.
