While the above poster may be from western Europe and have a different experience than us, Shinigami, I do still agree with your opinion. I have a lot of friends that visit or live in many different places in Europe, and they seem to have the same opinion. However, they did grow up American, so there is a potential for bias there. I also ask if downbeatplumb has considered his own potential bias, or the bias imposed by his country as well. I'm not saying that he hasn't, since I don't actually know him, but it is always good to consider all possibilities.
