The biblical fairy tale doesn't have squat to do with how humans got started. The fairy tale is about how the Jews got started. The entire thing is based on the Jewish line and has nothing to do with the rest of humanity. When you fully understand that you will realize why you think it is sh*t.
Unsubstantiated..
It states that there were no plants before he made Adam so I wonder what those other humans ate..
Quote:4 This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, when the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.
5 Now no shrub had yet appeared on the earth[a] and no plant had yet sprung up, for the Lord God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no one to work the ground, 6 but streams[b] came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground. 7 Then the Lord God formed a man[c] from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
Mankind is used to mean all men. It would be incorrect to use it to refer to a subset of men.
Quote: Genesis 5 New International Version (NIV)
From Adam to Noah
5 This is the written account of Adam’s family line.
When God created mankind, he made them in the likeness of God. 2 He created them male and female and blessed them. And he named them “Mankind”[a] when they were created.
