If you mean a god in the sense,"creator of all things".then a god doesn't necessarily have to be a person.
It may very well be an event that took place which lead to the creation of all things.
On a side note,i agree with I_am_mafia,computers wouldn't be able to reason or have experiences and learn from them,i.e,adaptive ability in the near future.
Also,nobody has to be paranoid about computers dominating humans,because basically a computer is programmable and a computer being programmable can be programmed in such a manner that it doesn't affect the existence and survival of humans in any manner.
Computers are only as smart as we program them to be,moreover the technical boundaries when it comes to creating a proficient AI is literally too much to handle.
Ultimately an AI that might threaten the human race with superior reasoning and intelligence can only be created after human's fully understand how the brain works to the last minute detail,i don't see that happening very soon,until then although we'd be able to develop relatively impressive AI's,it will be mindless nevertheless.
@QuarkDriven,
If you mean Robot atheists are not possible because we created them and hence we are the creator,then you're probably wrong.
Because if that were true human atheists wouldn't also be possible because we know our "creators",i.e,our Mom and Dad but most of us still choose to be atheists because the questions doesn't end with a female and male having sex.
