Yes, that is crazy. Crazy enough to be unbelievable. I'd seriously like to see the citations for that claim. Of course during slave days black women were forced to do anything and everything, and pre-sixties racism was so prevalent that nothing like that would raise an eyebrow, so sticking to the more modern turn of the century, I would find that extremely hard to believe. Aren't you skeptical about this claim? Why not?


Just saying it's not racist when it's a feeling of "possession" based solely on race is disingenuous. You do know that "people of color" are just simply humans that can be just a racist as any white man. There is absolutely no meaningful difference between you and her. If she says that there is something wrong with you wearing any particular hairstyle her "race based club" has laid claim to she is making a racist statement.

Look at the converse. If you had written that there is something wrong with BQ for trying to take a white girl's hairdo and that she is trying to "steal" some of your "culture", you would definitely be a racist. You would be claiming that the white race "owns' certain hairstyles and that black girls have to be making a statement or participating in mockery just by choosing the style.

Hairdo's are not owned by any race. Races don't own anything. Spending inordinate time trying to "classify" people with a particular style or physical attribute is definitely racism in my book.
While it is racist to go to the mall in black-face because it is blatant mockery, a hairdo is not mockery.

First and foremost, I do not, did not claim anything of the sort. And the last time I checked braids, fros, locs, and twists are associated with black female beauty. To say otherwise is totally disingenuous. And I'm not classifying anything! These styles can only be done with coarse curly hair, which 99.9% of the time with black people you nitwit.
And I also see you didn't bother to read that a black woman using "white girl" hairstyles isn't about style. It's about survival! Or did you miss that part too?

Confirmed citation is clearly needed! Something in this decade please! I would really like to know where any employer demands that black woman style her hair in a way that is generally inconsistent with her hair type.

Why would I be interested in seeing this citation? Because that would be a blatant example of racism that is generally not acceptable in today's society. Instead of posting about a example of real, confirmed racism act against a black person, the post is about a white girl "stealing a 'sista's style?" Really?

You say that "'fros. Locks, and twists are "associated" with black female beauty. "Associated?" Do you mean "racially associated?"  So a normal human girl that has been "officially declared a WOC" by her "peers" should be wearing "Fros, locks, or twists" to be considered a black female beauty? 

My ex-wife was a Peruvian Indian woman and I marveled at her beautiful coarse hair. It was as thick as the hair on a horse's tail. In all of my world travel I've never seen any people with more coarse hair than the Incan peruvians. I am sure her hair was twice as course as any you might have, so despite her hair being super straight, do all of her coarse hairstyles steal from the so called "black beauty culture?" Is she racist too? I've spent quite a bit of time in the far east too. I have seen lots of natives there with "afros, locks, and twists."

Should this Malaysian girl wear her hair straightened and colored or would she be stealing from your black "association club" if she wore her hair in a 'fro? Is she "Color" enough to get your racial approval?

Too bad he didn't understand that the brotherhood that he dreamed of would be blocked by the racial exclusion of white women to this brotherhood by the "WOC."

If one of your Kin were a "WOC" but happened to be born with "straighter" hair that wasn't quite as course as your's you would never have thought to criticize her for using one of your special "WOC" hairstyles, but a white girl with the same type of hair would get "dissed" simply because her skin color didn't make it into your "racial club."
That is racist whether you want to admit it or not.
