So many goodies. So much action.
Why is the apparent hero a "monster"?
How is a monster so highly athletic and psychologically tuned? Not to mention that he can use gadgets made for his captors and fly a space ship... How? Is he like the hulk meets cap America?
Why are those enemies blasting a doomed planet? Such waste...
Are the captors and the enemies the same species? Is the monster one of then, too, but somehow altered?
Or are we talking weird forehead aliens, like star trek?
The sol system seems to be some sort of reference in this universe, so are we to expect humans?
Techno babble nerdy stuff thing: is that a warp drive, hyperspace navigation or simple instantaneous wormhole faster-than-light travelling? Or what?
Also, there seems to be a typo on 'breath' before the monster resurfaces for the first time... Maybe you mean 'breathe'?
Just one more question: well you keep the monster alive if I ask when can we read some more??
Thanks poca! As to your questions...
All will be revealed! *Waves arms around in a vaguely wizard-like fashion then gives up because he looks like a twat*

EDIT: I can answer one question now as it's not spoilery - the Arcdrive is essentially a hyper drive, but I wanted the universe to have as original a feel as possible. In 200,000 years, such names for things may well have been forgotten, so entirely new ones are created. At least that's my in-universe explanation for it.
