I know of similar forums that literally have no-ban policies and say they've got "true freedom of speech". Forums that never delete anything (supposedly). There's forums out there that literally have exactly what ep is suggesting.
It sounds like a nice idea on the face of it, but then you see what people inevitably actually post. It's a fucking cess pool of kiddie porn and vile, pointless troll threads. I mean, some of it's entertaining, provided you have a twisted sense of humour (which I admit, I do), but it's only ever as good as the worst person who goes on there. And there's some pretty damn fucked up and stupid people out there, y'know?
So this idea that it would somehow administrate itself is just stupid. It doesn't happen and never will. It's no different to assuming everyone can behave themselves in the real world. Yeah, that happens. Not.
